Battle of Britain Presentation at RAF Shawbury
“On behalf of the Station Commander, Royal Air Force Shawbury, I have great pleasure in inviting the Shrewsbury Royal Air Force Association Branch to attend a presentation about the Battle of Britain on Monday 16 November 2015.
Your presence would be an honour at this event. The day will commence at 1300 hrs, in the Officers Mess where Cpl Dai Lawrence will present the story of the Battle of Britain. He has previously been a curator at the Battle of Britain Bunker (Uxbridge Museum). He has an interesting, comprehensive, and factual account of events that took place and has delivered to large audiences in the past. Having seen the presentation myself I can say that it is mesmerising the amount of knowledge Cpl Lawrence knows about the subject, you will not be disappointed.
